What are long tail keywords?
At the very root, long-tail keywords are a collective group of words that are used to build your brand’s SEO. Build from seed keywords, long-tail keywords drive far more traffic, have comparatively lesser competition than short tail keywords.
For example, I did a small keyword check on Google’s Keyword Ranking tool to prove my point. Having stated that, here’s precisely why you must make use of long tail keywrods when it comes to content generation.
- Long tail keywords have lower competition and lower search rate.
- They rank better compared to short tail keywords.
- They are much more “to-the-point” than “short tail” or “single word” keywords.
- They are easy to understand and more user friendly.
- They are less diverse.
